We partner with schools who are:
- risk takers: willing to rethink the supports needed to support boys of color
- purpose aligned: your school's mission is aligned with dismantling the school to prison pipeline and improving outcome for boys of color
- equity focused: you must have a commitment to justice, equity, and inclusion. Schools must not be afraid to interrogate the challenges, disparities and existing systems to ensure that they create environments for boys of color to experience joy.
Ways to Partner with us
A school partner
Co-design a mentorship model for your context or implement an already existing Gents League model. Both include coaching for staff and access to data reports along the way.
A school district
Facilitate sessions to assist with gaining tools and resources on how to support boys of color. Training will focus on identity, privilege, and cultural competence that will allow staff to unpack their personal biases and stereotypes that may negatively impact how they support boys of color.
A hands-on Funder
Connect us with like minded schools, out-of-school programs, school district, charter networks, storytellers, business networks & others who want to collaborate.
A media group
Partner to review materials to ensure that the depiction of boys of color in their content are accurate and culturally responsible. Our partnership will focus on the interrogation and response to the media's (mis)representations of Black males.
