What is the Gentlemen’s League Conference?
- The Gentlemen’s League Conference is our annual, signature experience designed to empower Black boys in Memphis through leadership development, career exposure, wellness, and community connection. This year marks our 6th Annual Conference, and we’re expecting 250–300 boys in grades 3–12 from across the city.
- This year’s theme speaks directly to our boys. It’s about helping them understand that they are already built different—with unique gifts, talent, and brilliance—and giving them the blueprint to turn potential into purpose. We want every young man to leave knowing he belongs in spaces of opportunity and leadership.
- In Memphis, too many Black boys are facing barriers—academic gaps, limited access to role models, and a lack of exposure to career pathways. This conference exists to interrupt that reality. We’re creating a space where boys feel safe, seen, celebrated, and challenged to imagine more for their lives.
